Tenby Camera Club welcomed Allen Lloyd back on November 7. He is a popular speaker with stunning skills as photographer, both technically and artistically. The first of four sections was on the wildlife and landscapes of Iceland: birds in their breeding colours; seals and arctic fox too; waterfalls, beaches and mountains, lakes, churches and flowers through the seasons. And then there were the Northern lights, sunrises and sunsets.

Part 2 was a short appreciation of Preserved Steam Trains. Allen explained good places to visit to see the trains with full steam and advised on times to take the most atmospheric shots, especially at nighttime.

After a break, Allen demonstrated and talked about Drone Photography. He had two drones to look at and advised on regulations as a drone photographer. There was a lot of interest and questions on this subject.

The last section was an AV with commentary from Allen on Starry Landscapes with wonderful photos of the milky way, star groups , star trails and meteor showers, Photos taken in the moonlight were beautiful. Allen was very warmly thanked for sharing his knowledge and skills, giving everyone inspiration to get out with a camera.
