CONGRATULATIONS go to Rob Garland, who recently passed out as a Deputy Coxswain following an intensive period of training and assessments, both locally at Tenby and Angle and also at the RNLI College in Poole.
Rob continues to add to a life-boating tradition in his family. His great-grandfather, Thomas Benjamin Richards was a former station coxswain, as was his great-uncle, Josh Richards.
His other great-uncles Stanley and Reggie were both crew members, as was his grandfather Peter Richards. In all, his family have contributed some 200 years service to the RNLI so far.
