On Wednesday, March 12 over 30 members of Tenby Friendship club met at Augustus Place Hall for an afternoon of board games.
They started however with a game drawing a snowman by throwing dice. Two members won a snowman marshmallow stick for completing in the shortest time. Whilst having afternoon tea, the members played Snakes and Ladders, Buckaroo, Crazy card games, Balancing Kiwis, etc., enjoying laughter and companionship.
The previous Wednesday, the club had held an Antique afternoon with members bringing their favourite antique - like a pocket watch from their grandad, their best buy at a charity shop, a basket their grandmother bought on Pitcairn Island. Everybody learnt a bit more about antiques.
Today, Wednesday, 2pm in Augustus Place Hall, the Club’s Annual General Meeting takes place.
Next Wednesday afternoon (March 26), the Club will be visiting Tenby’s Deer Park Baptist Church, arriving in the car park at the back for 2pm, to learn the history of the church.
