A CLYNDERWEN man will stand trial after admitting to threatening behaviour, possessing an offensive weapon, assault and harassment.

Thirty-nine-year-old Rhydian Morse, of Precelly View, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on December 5.

Guilty pleas were entered to three offences carried out at Clynderwen on December 3: Using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence; possessing an offensive weapon (a chainsaw) in a public place; and assault by beating.

Morse also pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order when he created a Facebook post referring to a person whom he was prohibited from mentioning. He was remanded on conditional bail until the next hearing on January 20 when a witness screen will be employed.
