A Cresselly motorist has been penalised for driving without valid insurance.

Mr Thomas Kinnear, appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on April 8, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Polo on a section of the M4 (Swansea) when the drive was not covered by a policy of insurance.

Taking the plea into account, Magistrates set the fine at £120, plus £90 costs and a surcharge of £96 to fund victim services.

The 25-year-old has been disqualified from driving for six months.
