The deadline for Abigail’s Arts Award applications is just days away.
Abigail’s Arts Award is a bursary fund provided by Theatr Gwaun that aims to help young people in Pembrokeshire start a career in the arts.
The award is named for Abigail Goswell, who loved life, loved music and the arts, but who sadly passed away in 2020 from breast cancer.
The Award offers two annual grants of £500 that can be spent on anything that helps a young person pursue their dreams of studying the arts. It might be tuition fees, travel to auditions, artistic materials or activities.
A spokesperson said: “Anyone who’s aged 16-25, lives in Pembrokeshire and wants to pursue the creative or performing arts. Whether their passion is photography, dance, acting, writing, or cinematography we want to support it. From accordion playing to the Xylophone, we don’t discriminate – we just want to hear from you!”
Applications are open until Monday, March 31. Details can be found online.
