Jake Aldred, a former Level 3 Creative Media learner at Pembrokeshire College, has successfully launched his own creative business.

Jake Aldred Media is rapidly gaining recognition in the wedding industry for its impeccable attention to detail, creative approach, and ability to capture raw emotion. Each project, whether it’s a wedding, an Ironman event, or a community festival, is handled with dedication and a deep understanding of storytelling through visual content.

Jake’s portfolio includes coverage of prestigious events such as the Pembrokeshire County Show, Saundersfoot Fest, and high-profile promotional material with the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, the Cardiff Dragons Women’s Netball Team and S4C. His dynamic skill set also includes providing videography and photography services for live music events.

In launching Jake Aldred Media, Jake’s vision is to offer unique, professional, and personal services for clients looking to immortalise significant moments in their lives. His ability to blend creative vision with technical expertise allows him to deliver stunning imagery that resonates with his clients.

“I’m incredibly excited to take this next step and build something of my own,” says Jake.

“I studied Creative Media Production Level 3 at Pembrokeshire College, the course really helped me develop a lot of my basic skills for being a videographer and photographer and I started to do some social media work for local businesses and then this allowed me to progress in capturing my first wedding while studying.

“A big help was from my tutor Denys, who understood I did not want to go onto university and instead knew I wanted to become a freelancer and build connections. Denys also helped me connect with the right people in the College such the Enterprise Team where they put me in contact with the local council and helped me secure some funding for my business.”
