TENBY and District Camera Club kicked off 2025 with the judging of the 2nd Open Competition.
There were 54 entries, 39 digital and 15 prints to be appreciated and judged. It was a close run competition with Rob Mitchell tasked to give out the awards as well as critique.
Prints: Gold went to Jan Sullivan with Taking Flight’; Silver, Ali Rees (‘Urban Life’); Bronze, Francis White (‘Waterfall in colour’). Charlie Kidd won two Highly Commended awards; Commended: Jan Sullivan, John Slater.
Digitals: Gold went to Jan Sullivan for her image ‘Humming Bird Moth’; Silver, Ali Rees (‘Incoming Gannet’); Bronze Medal, Jan Sullivan (‘Shades of Autumn’). Highly Commended: Charlie Kidd, Harry Gardiner; Commended: Rob Cox, Paul Richards, Gary Mayhew, Alan Brown.
