A ‘FORTIES Dance’ at Pembroke Dock on Saturday, June 21 marks the 80th anniversaries of VE and VJ-Days and the end of World War II

The Phil Dando Big Band will make a welcome return to play evocative wartime dance music - the era of Glenn Miller.

Organised by the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre team, it will be staged in a Port of Milford Haven-sponsored 400-capacity marquee, in the former Royal Dockyard, supported by street food vendors.

Funds raised will support the return of the RAF Pembroke Dock Memorial Window to the community from the RAF Museum in London after 30 years.
