As Tenby Male Choir gallops through its busy summer programme, the finishing line in early October is just coming into sight.

On August 22, the first of three fundraisers for the choir at St Mary's Church, Tenby was warmly received. Local young pianists Sabrina and Elizabeth Morgan dazzled with their virtuoso performances. One holiday maker remarked the concert was the best £10 she’d spent all week!

Following their evening performance at St Mary’s on August 29, the choir will return again to the church at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 5 for a concert featuring gifted local young musicians including Seren Barrett and Ianto Evans.

Then on Tuesday, September 10, the Giltar Hotel will host a free, informal concert by Tenby Male Choir in their basement function room. This starts at 8.30pm.

For the second occasion this year, the Choir will be performing with the Bella Voce ladies choir, this time at St Mary's Church, Tenby on Friday, September 13 at 7.30. This concert will be a fundraiser for RNLI Lifeboats who celebrate 200 years of saving lives at sea.

The Begelly Arms will be hosting 'An Audience with Tenby Male Choir' on Thursday, September 19, featuring a concert with a two-course dinner. This is a ticket-only event and must be booked through the Begelly Arms. (01834 812601 or [email protected])

This month closes with a fundraising concert at St Mary’s Church, Tenby on Thursday, September 26, but the choir will be back, just over a week later, on Friday, October 4 for their End of Season Celebration. Serendipity Ladies Choir from Narberth will join Tenby Male Choir and a night to remember is assured.
