A Whitland pub is looking rather glorious after a series of murals has been completed by Steve ‘Jenks’ Jenkins of JenksArt.

The Station House mural represents the ‘Cardi Bach’ steam trains and an express train we see on the rail network today.

Jenks is a well known street artist from Llanelli. Watching his work in progress was simply astounding. And he ‘smashed it out of the park once again’ with the war remembrance mural on behalf of Whitland and Narberth Royal British Legion who attend regular meetings at the Station House.

Proprietor Mike Adams is delighted: “We would like to thank Steve for his impressive creation and dedicated work. This project could not have be done without the help of Linda Morris of Carmarthenshire Council Ten Towns Programme.

“Also a great big thank you to all our customers who have made it possible for us to run a business at the Station House pub for over 17 years. Thank you for supporting your local pub and helping to support the local community.”
