Celebrating her 90th birthday last Sunday, Mary Smith, well known and greatly loved resident of Tenby, was surrounded by her adoring family and friends all joining in the fun and laughter.

Mary was born at home in Avondale Villas, St Julian’s Street, Tenby and it has been her family home all of her life, apart from joining her late husband, Peter, on his army postings in Singapore, Germany and England, but the family always returned for the holidays during this time to her loving family home in Avondale. Mary is the only daughter of the late Joseph Currie Davies of Avondale Villas and Winnie Davies nee Harries previously of Culver Park. Two of Tenby’s oldest surviving families.
