Members of the Lower Landsker Trefoil Guild enjoyed a memorable tour of the BBC studios in Cardiff, meeting stars and learning about cutting-edge technology.

Ten members travelled to Cardiff for the guided tour, which proved to be a fascinating April meeting.

Guides Tony and Holly were friendly and knowledgeable and members of the Tenby-based Guild found the studios designed by the company responsible for The Shard were impressive, to say the least.

They were fortunate to meet Sabrina, the weather girl who was friendly and charming, and even got a wave from Nick Servini before he read the news!

The Guild members enjoyed learning about all the technological innovations, but one of the most interesting stops was with Julian, the continuity man, whose shift ran from 5.30am to 3.30pm with him constantly counting down to his next link.

All agreed that it had been an excellent visit, even if the journey home proved eventful in more ways than one!

On May 7, the Guild meets to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
