Tenby Friendship Club members enjoyed a quiz and talk about knitting by two ladies from the Salvation Army.
Following the quiz and talk, which took place on Wednesday, April 2, the ladies then invited club members to purchase Easter presents of chicks with chocolate orange ‘eggs’ inside them: rabbits with Easter eggs, and all kinds of characters especially for children that their group of ladies had knitted.
After the raffle was drawn - with prizes of knitted characters - sumptuous cakes were enjoyed.
Members donned seasonal Hats for the Club’s Easter party on April 9.
There will be no meetings during the Easter break, either on April 16 or April 23. The Club will meet again on Wednesday, April 30, at 2pm in Augustus Place Hall.
The summer term program should prove very interesting and new members are welcome.
