Having spent a period of January and February closed for overhaul Tenby Museum & Art Gallery is back open, and there will be a series of exciting events coming up over 2025.

First up are a few Thursday evening talks. On March 27, Mick Brown will be speaking on his experiences visiting the island nation.

Museum Outreach and Education Officer Glyn Harries said: “This talk will be very interesting. With everything reported in recent months, eyes are on Greenland. Mick tells me that he will speak about the people of the island, and their rich and unique culture. This is something that I don’t think is touched upon very often, so I am certainly looking forward to this talk.”

The following week, on Thursday the April 3, the Museum will host Alan Owen, a former patient and current volunteer with the Wales Air Ambulance, who will be providing an illustrative talk on the essential work undertaken by this charity, and his own experiences with them.

Over 2025 there will be a series of talks on a regular basis, with speakers including Terry John and Father Gildas Gage attending to cover a variety of different topics.

“There so many experts in the area that we can invite in and engage with. It is very exciting to look at the broad range on offer, and then select many different things for our visitors,” added Glyn.

Tenby Museum will also be putting on a various children’s workshops and events over 2025, with a special look at puffins and the various creatures and environment of the Pembrokeshire coastline coming up at Easter.
