MEMBERS of the Pembrokeshire Fundraising Branch of Guide Dogs Cymru are ‘hugely thankful’ to Tenfoot Swim for a wonderful donation of £1,125 raised by the event held in September 2024 finishing at Coppet Hall Beach, Saundersfoot.
Guide Dog owner Adge John with guide dog Skip, together with branch organiser Eva Rich, met at Coppet Hall on 28 February in glorious sunshine to accept the donation from Tenfoot Swim representatives Lynn Knibbs and Anthony Mattick, and Kim Denning from Hean Castle Estates.
This magnificent sum is an excellent start to fundraising for 2025, which in December will be the branch’s 50th anniversary of fundraising in Pembrokeshire, so look out for further fundraising events in the coming months. Thanks go to everyone who took part in the Tenfoot Swim, including the hard working organisers, for making Guide Dogs one of the charities to benefit.
