A MILFORD Haven resident who stole groceries from two local stores while on a suspended sentence has been sent to prison.
Kelly Rees, aged 35, of Precelly Place, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on January 20 and pleaded guilty to two charges of theft from a shop.
On September 2, 2024 at Morrisons Daily, Pembroke Dock, Rees stole chocolate and sweets to the value of £26.71 belonging to Morrisons daily, and on January 17, 2025 at Milford Haven, Rees stole groceries belonging to Mount Stores to the value of £12.60.
Compensation was set at the value of the goods, plus £85 costs. The total custodial period will be 18 weeks, with 6-week and 4-week prison sentences to be served concurrently.
