Lockdown procedures were implemented at Ysgol Harri Tudur / Henry Tudor School, Pembroke on Friday in response to a reported threat.

Pembrokeshire County Council confirmed shortly after 2.30pm that day that lockdown had been lifted and all pupils and staff were safe and well.

Dyfed-Powys Police also attended the scene.

“Concerns were raised following a threatening message sent to Ysgol Henry Tudor,” a spokesperson said on Friday afternoon.

“The school took appropriate safeguarding action which concluded swiftly.

“The lockdown has now been lifted and all students have left the school safely.

“To provide reassurance, officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Team were present at the end of the school day.

“Police enquiries are ongoing.”
